My name is Garrett Alloway, and I am a aspiring filmmaker

Ever since I was little, I have always been into movies.  My dad would bring a new movie home from Blockbuster, pop it into the VCR and I would be sucked in.  When I was younger, I didn’t really study the videos. Now I will watch a commercial and try to figure out how they produced it, from the text animations to the motion graphics or the compositing.  Another thing I do is study the shots in movies and see how the character is placed in the frame, how the camera moves, and various shots that reoccur in films.
